Description
This Zendala lesson design is based on the stained-glass dome skylight of the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, a world heritage site built between 1905 and 1908. I was mesmerised when I saw it in 2017. Designed by Lluis Domènech I Montaner, the central inverted dome is a giant sun design which will be the influence for Zentangle techniques, to bring a tangle inspired version of the dome to life on your tile.
Materials you will need:
- A Zendala tile (or tile 13cm by 3cm / 3inches by 5 inches)
- Your favourite tangling pen
- A drama (thicker) pen (08, 10, Brush)
- A tortillon and a pencil
- Colouring medium – of your choice, I work with pastel pencils and matching tortillons in the video) but you can choose your own preferred medium.
- White gelly roll pen
Once purchased, you’ll receive all the details you need to download the video (1GB; approx. 1.10hrs of tangling time) and a PDF handout to your computer to tangle along to at your own pace and time of day. Available to download for up to 3 months after purchase.
